A man has died after 2 vehicles collided on a twinned section of Highway 103. Police were called to the scene last night just after 5PM between Exit 3 and 4 inbound. No names have been released.


People with outstanding warrants for non-violent offences are being offered the chance to turn themselves in. Halifax Regional Police are holding their first voluntary surrender initiative on April 29th at the Dartmouth North Community Centre from 8:30AM-4:30PM. The event is a first for Canada.


RCMP are notifying people in the province about the release of a high-risk offender. 36 year old James Andrew MacKay is being released from the Atlantic Institution in Renous, N.B., today. RCMP are notifying all citizens, but particularly people in Halifax and Yarmouth.
