Police are investigating an assault & robbery that happened Sunday morning in Halifax. Around 3:30AM police found a 25 year old man unconscious, and a 29 year old man conscious with injuries on Barrington Street. The men say they were assaulted and robbed by at least 4 male suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Upper Clements Park is getting an upgrade worth $300,000. Premier Stephen McNeil says the park is a place where visitors and Nova Scotians go to have fun. The funding will improve the main attractions of the park including the carousel, roller coaster and flume ride.

A mobile parking payment service that already exists in many Canadian cities is coming to Halifax. The city estimates the new parking technology initiative will cost over four million dollars. With the new parking payment system you’ll receive a text message from the city when your parking meter is about to expire.
