Another teacher in Nova Scotia is in trouble with the law after an incident with a student that happened in September. 55 year old Paul O’Toole who teaches at Musquodoboit Rural High School has been charged with assault. He’s since been placed on administrative leave.

A Halifax police officer has been charged with voyeurism after visiting the Esquire Motel on the Bedford Highway during his night shifts to peep inside windows. Constable George Farmer, an 11 year veteran of the Halifax Regional Police Force, is also charged with trespassing & breach of trust. He has since been suspended with pay and has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Postal workers in the Halifax region are back at their jobs after 48 hours of striking. The CUPW Vice President says the strike action ended as of 8:00PM last night. That means that mail delivery will resume this morning.
