Former NHL Goalie Ray Emery Drowns At 35

He went swimming in Hamilton harbour near his hometown early Sunday but did not resurface.

Emery played for several teams throughout a career spanning more than a decade, including the Ottawa Senators, Chicago Blackhawks and Philadelphia Flyers.

Remember this classic bout between Ray and Marty Biron, two great goalies duking it out!

He won the William M. Jennings trophy — and the Stanley Cup — with the Blackhawks in 2013.

Rest in hockey peace Ray Emery, gone way too soon.
