Brooks & Dunn Earn 1st #1 Album in Nearly a Decade With “Reboot”

Things just keep getting better for iconic country Brooks and Dunn. After the two were named 2019 Country Music Hall of Fame inductees last month, their latest album has just debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. Reboot moved 31,000 equivalent album units in its first week of release, including 21,000 in traditional album sales, to take the top spot, making it the twosome’s seventh #1 LP–and their first in nearly a decade.

“It is hard to believe after all these years, this music is at the top of Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart,” Kix Brooks tells the outlet about the album, which offered today’s hottest country artists singing with them on new versions of their classic hits. “I love these songs, and we owe a big thanks to all the amazing artists who brought them to life again. I don’t remember ever having more fun in the studio. Everybody says that, but I really think the proof is in the grooves!”
