Vince Gill will join the Eagles next month!
He’s admitted that joining the surviving members of The Eagles for a series of performances this summer is “bittersweet.”
Vinny tells “Rolling Stone Country” the impact of the legacy of the Eagles songs will live forever and thought “It would be good for people to continue to hear them.”
It was announced earlier this month that Vince Gill will step in for Glenn Fry for the group’s two reunion shows at July festival gigs in New York and Los Angeles.
I was lucky enough to see the Eagles in Moncton back in 2008 and what a night it was to hear the catalogue of their classics like Take It Easy, Tequila Sunrise, Peaceful Easy Feeling and New Kid in Town, all Glenn Frey sung songs.
I’m sure Vinny will knock them outta the concert park! Deacon Frey, Glenn’s son will also join the group.
