The 37th Annual Terry Fox Run Was Held Yesterday

I had the honour of being the MC for the Halifax run at Point Pleasant Park with 300 plus participants.

Fred Fox, Terry’s brother, was a special guest!

Fred speaks to the hundreds of Terry Fox Run participants.

Terry Fox’s cross-country journey came to an end 37 years ago, but his legacy lives on as tens of thousands of Canadians participated in ‘Terry Fox Runs’ from coast-to-coast.

Over 34 countries took part and to date over 750 million dollars has been raised in Terry’s name!

On a personal note, our son Trent was diagnosed with children’s kidney cancer at four months and is now eighteen in his first year of Dalhousie Engineering.

We know that thanks to Terry’s efforts and cancer research advancements, our son is with us today. Here is Trent firing the run pistol yesterday.

Thanks again Terry!
